Blue Ballerina

The purest essence of grace combined with power, the ballerina propels herself through the air with beauty and serenity.

Her hair flows inexplicably into beautifully fluent shapes as she rises and falls. Caught in mid splendour, she flies fairy like across a blue backdrop.

I deliberately painted her dress in light tones matching the abstract backdrop so as to give her a the impression that she is emerging from the background.

Only the merest indication of a shadow ties her to the foreground of the image.

The piece is 50cm x 70cm, (approx 20" x 28") and painted on a stretched box canvas, so no need to add the cost of a frame.

The sides of the piece are painted to match the rest of the piece, which gives it an added 3D effect. 

PLUS the piece is already strung on the back, so you just need to decide where you would like to hang this stunning artwork, to grace your home.

This piece is shipped with a signed certificate of authenticity, and a valuation certificate.
